The year’s first issue of the Racing Calendar should be with all gold members and subscribers early next week. The magazine will feature the detailed Calendar for Road and Track up to the end of May, with listings allowing you to plan the remainder of your season. These should also be online by the end of next week – look for the “Race Calendar” button on the homepage. WEEKEND
Coach Jeff Wade of Chelmer CC

been in touch looking for more riders for his track training session at
Newport Velodrome next Sunday (9th Jan) from 09.00 till 16.00 - the
cost
with coaching is £20. Jeff is catering for everyone from novices to

BRADLEY WIGGINS IN NEW YEAR’S HONOURS LIST
Two
of Britain's Olympic stars Chris Hoy and Bradley Wiggins were included
in
the New Year’s Honours list. Chris Hoy was awarded the MBE, whilst
Bradley
Wiggins was awarded the OBE. Chris Hoy said on his website Go There

British Cycling has a new partnership with BRS Ltd that
will
provide a 7.5 tonne Renault Midlum truck to attend a programme of
National
Series and National championship events in 2005. In a ceremony at the
Track World Cup Classic on Friday 7th January, Roger Clarke, BRS Senior
Programme Manager, will hand the keys over to Peter King, BC Chief
Executive. The truck will carry the race finish kit to major events in
the
British racing calendar, and will also equipped as the race winners’
podium.

which will be taking place on 21-28 August around St Johann in Austria.
