Somerset RC/Bicycle Chain riders just missed out on the team prize in the Antelope RT 10 mile time trial near Poole on Sunday morning. There was a tailwind on the way out and a tough headwind on the return leg.

Rick Johnston was the first SRC rider in 21 min 57 secs, followed by Tim Reeves in 22.03 (season's best) and Mark Kurpyta in 22.32. The winner was the local rider, Terry Icke (Poole Whs) in a time of 20.13.

Most club riders are busy training for SRC's 25 mile time trial on Sunday 31st August on the Podimore course at 7 a.m.
