Somerset Road Club/Bicycle Chain riders put in a great overall performance in the North Devon Wheelers' 25 mile Time Trial on the testing Copplestone course on Bank Holiday Monday. Greg Sandy (Team-Endurasport.com-Principia and SRC) was the clear winner with a time of 55 mins and 33 secs. One of SRC's specialist time trialers, Andy Winterbottom secured 3rd place with a time of 57-49, just 6 seconds behind 2nd placed rider Julius Jennings. Other SRC riders putting in strong times were - Rick Johnston, 59-47 (6th overall and 1st in his age category), Mark Kurpyta, 1-02-43 (2nd in his age category), Martin Pearse, 1-03-01 and Leigh Pinchen, 1-03-35.
