Yet again a Somerset Road Club/Bicycle Chain rider won a time trial, early in the week. Tim Reeves won the Tor 2000 Sporting 16 mile Time Trial despite the heavy rain before the start of the event. He completed the hilly course in a time of 43 mins 50 secs.

Tim was in action again on Sunday for the East Dorset CA 10 mile Time Trial on the P235 course near Ringwood. It was a generally flat but winding road with poor road surface in places and a slight headwind on the return leg. Tim's time of 23 mins 21 secs placed him as first veteran and 8th overall, from a good field of 47 riders.
