Somerset RC / The Bicycle Chain riders turned in strong and very hot performances on wed night, in the Clevedon & District RC 10 mile Time Trial on the Axbridge course. They easily secured the team prize with four riders finishing in the top five in a 40 strong field.

SRC rider Andy Winterbottom won the event with a very impressive season's best time of 20 min 47 secs, ahead of Greg Sandy (Team-Endurasport.com-Principia), who rode 21-03. SRC riders filling the other top spots were Rick Johnston (22-03), Martin Pearse (22-49) and Tim Reeves (22-58).

Needless to say, yet another Team Prize !!

Further afield as usual, Tom Cox also recorded a season's best in South Wales recording a fast 55-50 for the 25 mile course.

Not to be outdone SRC's John Wynn hitched a lift with Tom Cox who had to rise at 3.00 am to ride at Oxford which paid off with a big win and season's best of 1hr 49min 15 secs for the 50 miles, at over 27mph average speed. Tom Cox secured 11th place with 1-58-23.
