Somerset RC / The Bicycle Chain riders turned in strong performances on Thursday night, in the 10 mile time trial on the S4 course at Buckfastleigh South Devon. Greg Sandy (Team Endurasport/SRC) won the event with an impressive time of 20 min 35 secs. SRC riders filling the other top spots were Rick Johnston (22-35), Tom Cox (23-21) and Mark Kurpyta (24-07).

Moving across to North Devon on Sunday morning, Greg Sandy held his midweek form to win on the windy, bumpy and rolling Barnstaple/Copplestone S12 course, covering the 25 miles in 55-24. He was well supported by SRC's Lee Pinchen, Martin Pearce and Mark Kurpyta all recording times of just over 1hr 2mins.

SRC's John Wynn teamed up again with Tom Cox to ride in South Wales and secured 8th place in the very large field, with 54min 33 secs for the 25 miles. Tom Cox disappointingly retired with mechanical problems, the second time recently on one of his favourite courses.
