Jon Wynn of Somerset Road Club/The Bicycle Chain was in great form again on Saturday, setting a new course record for the U48 course near Cirencester. He won the Corinium CC's 10 mile time trial in a time of 21 minutes 15 seconds, knocking over a minute off the previous course record, despite the windy conditions.
The conditions were also very blustery, but bright and sunny, for the Plymouth Corinthian CC's 10 mile time trial on the A38 between Exeter & Plymouth on Saturday evening. Rick Johnston and Tim Reeves rode the event and recorded identical times of 23 minutes and 32 seconds, finishing in the top quartile from a field of 40 riders.
