Somerset Road Club Riders took the team prize in the Gillingham & District Wheelers hilly 19 mile time trial on Saturday 11th September. Conditions were dry and warm but very windy which made the going difficult.
Ian Hounsell came 3rd overall in a time of 48:49, followed by Rick Johnston at 49:10, Leigh Pinchen at 49:24, Martin Pearce at 49:43 and Kevin Sayles at 51:33.
On Sunday, Tom Cox rode the VTTA South Wales Group 25 TT on the R25/3H course near Swansea. His time of 56:39 placed Tom 13th in a field of 98 riders.
