Monday night was near perfect conditions for the second of Team Tor 2000/Global Heating Ltd/Scorpion CS/Corbieres Bike Tours/Squeezy/Tifosi  ‘Come and Try it’ time trials at Burtle. With a good number of participants for the 10 mile event it was Taunton rider Tim Reeves (Somerset RC) taking a victory with a 22.35, a minute clear of joint second placed riders Tor’s Richard Smith and Stu Dodd 23.35. It was great to see some new riders having a go with good rides done by first timers Michael Leech, 26.33 and 14 year old Nick Rawlings, 30.34 and Sean Cox, 29.00. The fast ride was the pair of Gerry Bowditch and John Hollier (Ritchey/Cycolops) who completed the event as a 2 up in 22.34.  Many thanks to all the helpers and to Willow’s Café for their use of their carpark
