I am writing to inform you of our 4 Star (WTB
rating) Hostel accommodation in the village of Trawsfynydd,
N.Wales and was wondering if it would be of interest to your
club.
We are situated 300 yards off the
A470/Lôn Las, "The Welsh National Cycle Route
from Chepstow & Cardiff to Holyhead". In the centre of Snowdonia National
Park, and only 4 miles from Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre.
Llys Ednowain Hostel is open all year and provides convenience
at a very reasonable price of £12.00, P.P.P.N. The Hostel sleeps 18 in 4 centrally heated
en-suite rooms with linen, duvets and towels provided free of charge.
You are welcome to use the washing machine and tumble dryer,
or why not prepare a meal in the Kitchen and enjoy the magnificent views
surrounding you or watch the television. A computer has been fitted in the Kitchen/Diner
so you can send or receive your e-mails or surf the internet. Your bikes will be safe in our secure
bike store. All the village
amenities are within easy walking distance of the Hostel and these include
2 pubs, café, post office with off-licence, newsagents also selling
fishing permits, bank, grocer with off-licence, butcher and garage. For the walkers and ramblers there are
approx. 60 miles of public footpaths within the parish.
